- The successful development and implementation of Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) for a centralised reservation department at a multinational car rental organisation.
- Standardising processes and procedures relating to ticket ordering and sales administration for a multinational tour operator.
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, including standardised position descriptions and a position grading system.
- Project managing ‘Y2K’ compliance in IT.
- Implementing a payroll system for a construction organisation.
A skilled facilitator, Sharon’s expertise lies in the areas of requirement scoping and business process analyses (‘as-is’), identifying bottlenecks and providing high level solution themes. These analyses lead to a case for change, the design of future business process states (‘to-be’) and the documentation of procedures and work instructions.
During her career, Sharon has held managerial positions in operations, marketing and human resources across tourism, travel and retail industries. Sharon also has fulfilled roles as business analyst and office administrator across construction, publications and real estate organisations; and has earned Lean Six Sigma Foundations certification.
